Japanese Restaurant Chain Pays to Settle Employment Discrimination Lawsuit

Energy Company Settles Discrimination Lawsuit

An energy company based in Washington, D.C. has settled an employment discrimination lawsuit filed against it and its subcontractors for $2 million. The lawsuit, which accused Conectiv of allowing employees to engaging in racist behaviors, including the use of racial slurs and inflammatory symbols, was brought by four black workers from a site in Bethlehem.
