An energy company based in Washington, D.C. has settled an employment discrimination lawsuit filed against it and its subcontractors for $2 million. The lawsuit, which accused Conectiv of allowing employees to engaging in racist behaviors, including the use of racial slurs and inflammatory symbols, was brought by four black workers from a site in Bethlehem.
Conectiv emphasized that the settlement deal was not an admittance of guilt on its part.
